As you read with your child at home, here are some questions you can ask them as you read:
*Who is/are the characters in the story?
*Where does the story take place?
*What happens at the beginning of the story?
*What happens at the end of the story?
*What is the problem in the story?
*How is the problem solved in the story?
*How does the character feel in the story?
*What was your favorite part of the story?
*What do you think would happen next if the story continued?
*Can you retell the story in your own words?
